NIS2 compliant - for your peace of mind

At Fenagy, we understand that cybersecurity is crucial for the safe and efficient operation of modern energy solutions. That’s why we are proud to be compliant with NIS2, the latest European directive for securing critical infrastructure. This ensures that Fenagy heat pumps and cooling systems are protected against digital threats, keeping your operations both secure and reliable.

What is NIS2?

NIS2 (Network and Information Systems Directive) is a piece of European Union legislation aimed at strengthening the cybersecurity of critical infrastructure across the EU. It establishes strict requirements for identifying vulnerabilities, protecting sensitive data and ensuring systems can recover quickly in the event of a cyberattack.

The directive applies to various sectors, including energy, and as a medium-sized company providing heating and cooling equipment, Fenagy has taken the necessary steps to meet these stringent standards.

How has Fenagy ensured compliance?

To ensure NIS2 compliance, we have partnered with GapSolutions to assess and mitigate potential risks within our operations and products, while also mapping all elements relevant for delivering critical services – both internal and external. This includes securing not only the controls within our heat pumps and chillers but also our internal IT systems and deliveries from suppliers. Through GapSolutions’ project model, we’ve involved ourselves with phases regarding mapping, assessing and auditing ourselves with help from our partner, to warrant a GapSolutions certificate of completion, marking what is to be considered our proof of compliance with the NIS2 directive.

What does this mean for you?

Fenagy’s commitment to NIS2 compliance goes beyond just meeting legal requirements; it’s a promise to our customers that they can rely on our products for both performance and security. We have taken the responsibilities of cybersecurity and placed them with top management to always ensure that it has a strong priority within our company. Furthermore, we have established controls securing that we always uplift our responsibilities when it comes to our reporting obligations – to maintain a more cyber secure Europe and a more cyber secure Fenagy.
